Webster selected as IUPUI's community partnerships manager

LaTika R. Webster has been selected as community partnerships manager at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, announced Amy Conrad Warner, IUPUI vice chancellor for external affairs. Webster will assume her new duties in February.
“LaTika will play an important role in developing and strengthening IUPUI’s strategic partnerships with external community organizations, particularly those serving underrepresented audiences,” Warner said.
As community partnerships manager in the Office of External Affairs, Webster will engage underrepresented groups through alumni programs and community relations. Her duties will include managing program coordination with the Center for Leadership Development, the Fall 2013 United Way of Central Indiana workplace campaign for IUPUI and serving as the primary alumni contact at IUPUI for the IU Neal Marshall Indianapolis Club and the IU Latino Alumni Association in Indianapolis.
Webster has been director of residence life at Franklin College since 2004. Previously, she served as community director in Housing and Residential Education at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill from 2002 to 2004 and as resident director in Residential Life at the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign from 1999 to 2002.
Webster received a Bachelor of Science in legal administration from Ball State University, a Master of Arts in student affairs administration in higher education from Ball State University, and is currently earning an events management certificate from IUPUI.
