Students, faculty and staff streamed through the third annual Green Generation Fair at IUPUI today.

The fair, part of IUPUI’s 2012 Weeks of Welcome, is held at the beginning of the fall semester to let the campus community know how it can get involved in sustainability through the IUPUI Office of Sustainability, through new academic sustainability offerings, and through community partnerships within Indianapolis, Colleen McCormick, director of the sustainability office said.

The event, presented by the IUPUI Office of Sustainability and the Students Sustainability Council, offers ways to explore green advocacy, resource conservation, transportation alternatives, academic, volunteer and career opportunities in sustainability as well as the reduction of individual, campus and community impact on the environment
