International Opportunities Showcased at IUPUI's 8th International Festival

IUPUI’s 8th International Festival is Thursday, February 23 from 10:30 to 2:30 on the first floor of the Campus Center.
The Festival is an opportunity for faculty, staff, and students to learn more about IUPUI’s wide range of international opportunities for research and collaboration.
Free food samples will be available from the cuisines of China, India, Kenya, Mexico, and Egypt free of charge. Larger portions of meals from India, Mexico, and Egypt will be available for purchase in Outtakes.
Students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to don traditional clothing and enter the Best-Dressed Contest sponsored by Barnes & Noble @IUPUI Bookstore for a chance to win a $25 bookstore gift card. The student organization with the most participants wins a $50 gift card.
Fair trade products will be available for purchase from Imani Workshops, Global Gifts, and The Village Experience.
In addition to campus units, local organizations will be present, including Big Car, the City of Indianapolis, Exodus Refugee Immigration, the International Center, and the Nationalities Council of Indiana.
The IUPUI Flag Collection is on display in the Campus Center until Friday, February 24. The collection is curated by the International Center and sponsored by Duke Energy for use by the Central Indiana community.
The Festival is sponsored by the IUPUI Office of International Affairs with the Office of Auxiliary Services’ IUPUI Food Service and Barnes and Noble @ IUPUI. Beverages are courtesy of Coca Cola.
