Robert G. Bringle has been appointed the Kulynych/Cline Distinguished Professor of Psychology at Appalachian State University, effective August 2012.
Bringle currently is Chancellor’s Professor of Psychology and executive director of the IUPUI Center for Service and Learning at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
As the Kulynych/Cline Distinguished Professor, Bringle will teach, collaborate with undergraduate students and faculty on research, and organize a departmental colloquium that will be focused on teaching.
“This position presents an exciting opportunity for me to develop new projects on psychological research and to help the department integrate service learning into its new psychology curriculum," Bringle said. "The department is very collegial and student oriented, so it will be a great environment in which to work.”
