Library and GLBT Councils Host Multiple Genders Screening, Discussion

May 27, 2010 — In recognition of GLBT Pride Month, the IUPUI University Library (UL) Diversity Council and the Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Faculty Staff Council (GLBT FSC) will host a screening of Multiple Genders: Mind and Body in Conflict and a film discussion from 3 to 5 p.m., Thursday, June 10, 2010, in the UL’s Ruth Lilly Auditorium.

Evenbeck Awarded Lifetime Achievement Award

March 29, 2010 — Scott Evenbeck, Dean of University College at IUPUI, has been awarded the “lifetime achievement” award for the advancement of learning communities at the National Learning Communities Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. The honor has been given only one other time prior to Evenbeck’s award.
Evenbeck received the award last semester for his leadership in the development and advancement of learning communities at IUPUI. His work and leadership has led IUPUI into the national spotlight for the school’s strides in the field of learning communities.

Law School Honored to Have Chief Justice Speak

Chief Justice John G. RobertsMarch 18, 2010 — When John G. Roberts Jr., chief justice of the United States, delivers the 9th Annual James P. White Lecture on Legal Education at Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis on April 7, 2010, he will be the third member of the U.S. Supreme Court to participate in the event.
