SuperBowl Update: Library to Have Special Hours

Gibau Named Liberal Arts Associate Dean of Student Affairs

Gina Sanchez GibauSeptember 8, 2011 — Gina Sanchez Gibau, Ph.D., associate professor of anthropology, has been named associate dean of student affairs in the School of Liberal Arts at Indiana University Purdue University-Indianapolis by Dean William Blomquist. The appointment will take effect Dec. 1, 2011.

IUPUI to Host New Student Welcome

August 12, 2011 — IUPUI will begin the 2011-2012 academic year by welcoming incoming freshmen and transfer students with its annual New Student Welcome on Sunday, August 21 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the University College courtyard. This year’s theme is “Spots in the City” and the event will be highlighted by representation of the city’s six cultural districts.
