IUPUI to host NSF workshop Feb. 4

February 1, 2013 — INDIANAPOLIS -- The National Science Foundation and Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis will co-host a workshop from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at the IUPUI Campus Center, 420 University Blvd. More than 300 participants from institutions of higher learning across Indiana and beyond have registered to attend the event, NSF Day at IUPUI.

IUPUI lab gets $328,000 for energy research project

Grainger Industrial Supply gift will fund mentor scholarship at IUPUI University College

Grainger Gift PresentationJanuary 17, 2013 — INDIANAPOLIS -- Grainger Industrial Supply has made a $10,200 donation to Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis' University College to establish the Grainger Foundation Mentor Scholarship. The gift will provide scholarships for mentors through the IUPUI University College Bepko Learning Center and the IUPUI Office of International Affairs.

IU Police Department Indianapolis officers arrest former IUPUI employee after three-month burglary, theft investigation

January 17, 2013 — A three-month-long investigation of burglaries and thefts that have occurred at IUPUI ended Jan. 16, with the execution of a search warrant at the home of a former IUPUI Campus Facility Services employee, Michael W. Hawk, 38. The warrant was served on the city’s north side.
