Burrage, Carpenter, and Rawl selected as Fellows in the American Academy of Nursing

November 11, 2009 — Joe Burrage, PhD, Janet Carpenter, PhD, RN, and Susan Rawl, PhD, RN, members of the faculty of the IU School of Nursing (IUSON), were formally inducted on November 7, 2009 into the American Academy of Nursing along with 95 other new Fellows for 2009. Each of them was nominated for this honor by two current Academy Fellows and selected by the Academy’s fifteen-member Fellow Selection Committee for their outstanding achievements in the nursing profession. The induction took place during the Academy’s Annual 36th Annual Meeting and Conference, in Atlanta, GA.
