Shooting approaching 3D robots, being immersed in an interactive experience, and a point and click mystery game are all part of a singular event at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

Seventy-five graduating IU School of Informatics students will showcase their abilities at the Media Arts and Science Capstone Event from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday April 27.

The Capstone projects will be presented throughout the Informatics and Communications Technology Complex, located at West and Michigan Streets.

The event is open to the public.

This event – held at the close of each semester – celebrates and showcases the work of graduating Media Arts and Science students. The capstone project represents the culmination of a student’s knowledge and abilities in a particular area of specialization.

Projects include: 2D and 3D animation, application development, digital storytelling, gaming, interactive media, photography, social media marketing, video and sound production, and web development.
