Now that Executive Vice Chancellor Uday Sukhatme has announced his plans to join Pace University as provost, effective May 21, we have moved to form a search committee for his successor. We do not want to lose any of our momentum, and we want to select a successor who can continue improving our academic programs.

I met with the search committee at its initial meeting last Wednesday. The committee chair, Dean Bill Blomquist, and I are deeply committed to securing a highly qualified and diverse applicant pool for this key position. We are conducting a national search using a search firm represented by Ted Marchese of AGB Search.
